1.

What's a vegan?

A vegan is a person who does not eat any foods or take part in any activities that involve the use of animals or animal by products. So we don't eat anything from any being that had a mom, has bled, or pooped! So yes, that includes fish, before you ask. Veganism is a lifestyle, "plant based" refers to the diet.

2.

Where do you get your protein from?

The same place the animals you eat get theirs *inserts obligatory lol*. But seriously there's like 80,000 plant species, I'm not gonna name them all.

3.

If vegans hate meat, then why do they eat meat substitutes?

People adopt plant based diets for many reasons. Its not that we hate meat, we just hate the impact that eating animal products has on our bodies, the environment, and animals lives of course. Many meat alternatives are plant based, and have the same texture as meat, without the negative impacts! So you CAN have your cake and eat it too, as long as its cruelty free ;). Also, it's important to note that not all vegans eat meat alternatives.

4.

What's the hardest part about being vegan?

Honestly, dealing with non vegans lol. Its actually very easy otherwise. In between Google, Pinterest, and the Happy Cow App, I'm set-just watch and see!

5.

If you were stranded on an island and there was nothing to eat, but meat, what would you do?

DIE. Lmao. I mean, unless you're about that killing animals with your bare hands life, you'd be dead too *shrugs*.
