The Pandemic has really forced me to tap into my creative side. Life is both too long and too short to focus on what you don't have, so why not create it! With Amazon and Pinterest anything is possible lol, so from now on I’ll be bringing my dream countries and countries unseen to me. If you know me, then you know I love a vibe, an aesthetic, and to cook! Each month, I’ll be visiting a new country- drinks, scents, decor, entertainment (music & cinema), and most important of all, FOOD. Bienvenue en France

This weekend "in France" was nostalgic and a full cultural immersion. When I first visited France I was in the 8th grade. I didn’t like nice things then. It was my first time in a European country and my sisters, friends, & I were looking for McDonald’s and were mixing wine with Fanta lol! Children are the worst! This time we did things right, all French everything, and as authentic as possible, but this time; Vegan. Huānyíng lái dào zhōngguó

This first weekend in China was dedicated to nostalgia and righting the wrongs of my first time in China, when my bestie Ty & I went all the way over there on a 13 hour overnight layover, not knowing the language, getting in stranger’s cars, and taking drinks when we didn’t see who made them lol. OMG we were WILD! Did everything our parents told us not to do growing up, but we still here tho. This weekend I dedicated myself to learning some key phrases, and learning to read and draw the Chinese characters, so next time I go in person, I won’t be caught slipping. We also polished the weekend off watching Jet Li movies, and those old school dubbed Kung Fu movies my sisters & I used to watch with my Uncle Killa where the dialogue wouldn’t match the lip movements lmao.
